<p><b>Rally Championship</b> ist ein Rennspiel, das von <a href="Warthog_Sweden" class="mw-redirect" title="Warthog Sweden">Warthog Sweden</a> entwickelt und von <a href="SCi_Entertainment" class="mw-redirect" title="SCi Entertainment">SCi Entertainment</a> 2002 zunächst für <a href="PlayStation_2" title="PlayStation 2">PlayStation 2</a> und im Folgejahr für <a href="GameCube" class="mw-redirect" title="GameCube">GameCube</a> erschien. Es ist der Nachfolger zu <i><a href="Rally_Championship_Xtreme" class="mw-redirect" title="Rally Championship Xtreme">Rally Championship Xtreme</a></i> und zugleich der letzte Teil der Spieleserie. Als einziges Spiel der Reihe wurde es nicht von Europress veröffentlicht und besitzt keine Portierung für PC.

<p>Peter Grubmair von <a href="Gamezone.de" title="Gamezone.de">Gamezone.de</a> lobte in der PlayStation-Fassung das ausgereifte <a href="Gameplay" class="mw-redirect" title="Gameplay">Gameplay</a>, die Grafik und die mitreißende Geräuschkulisse. Es sei mit Liebe zum Werk entwickelt worden. Zwar durchbreche es die Grenze zur Simulation nicht, sei dabei aber auch kein Arcade-Racer.<sup id="cite_ref-Gamezone_PS2_4-1" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-Gamezone_PS2-4"><span class="cite-bracket">[</span>4<span class="cite-bracket">]</span></a></sup> Für Ulrich Steppberger hingegen überwiege die Arcade-Steuerung, die Reflexe statt sensibler Steuermanöver fordere. Die Strecken seien gut anzuschauen, jedoch teils etwas spartanisch. Ihm fehlten abwechslungsreiche Spielelemente, da nur gegen die Uhr gefahren werde.<sup id="cite_ref-Maniac_PS_6-1" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-Maniac_PS-6"><span class="cite-bracket">[</span>6<span class="cite-bracket">]</span></a></sup> Jens Bischoff meinte, dass für ihn Fahrverhalten, Streckendesign, Fuhrpark und Technik überzeugen, dafür aber bei Umfang, Schadensmodell, Präsentation und Simulationscharakter teils deutliche Abstriche gemacht wurden. Insbesondere mit <a href="Force_Feedback" title="Force Feedback">Force-Feedback</a>-Lenkrad käme Fahrspaß auf. Mit dem Simulationscharakter von <i><a href="Colin_McRae_Rally_2.0" title="Colin McRae Rally 2.0">Colin McRae Rally 2.0</a></i> oder <i><a href="World_Rally_Championship_(Computerspiel)" title="World Rally Championship (Computerspiel)">WRC 2001</a></i> könne es nicht mithalten.<sup id="cite_ref-4Players_7-1" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-4Players-7"><span class="cite-bracket">[</span>7<span class="cite-bracket">]</span></a></sup>

</p><p>Peter Grubmair bezeichnete die Portierung auf Nintendos Konsole als durchschnittliches Spiel, das grafisch die Möglichkeiten des GameCubes nicht ausreize. Die Geräuschkulisse sei mager, dünn und schlecht abgemischt. Physik und Schadensmodell seien schwach, ebenso der Mehrspielermodus. Die Steuerung sei gut gelungen. Er kategorisierte es als Arcade-Racer.<sup id="cite_ref-Gamezone_GC_3-1" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-Gamezone_GC-3"><span class="cite-bracket">[</span>3<span class="cite-bracket">]</span></a></sup> Ulrich Steppberger bemerkte, dass sich spielerisch im Vergleich zum Vorgänger nichts geändert habe. Es bleibe solide, aber unspektakulär.
